Julia

The adrenaline kick that hits me in the chest reminds me of that feeling when you hit the accelerator on your car to make it through that yellow light as you pray someone doesn’t turn out in front of you.

It rattles my heart, shaking it around in my chest as Aiden’s words repeat themselves in my head, clouding my brain.

His touch ignites a fire in me as if he’s touching me for the first time. Everything with him is different and intense, and maybe it’s the normalcy of it all. Or maybe it’s because he’s the first person I’ve fallen wholeheartedly and honestly in love with. I don’t hold back, my lips colliding with his in desperation as my tongue searches his mouth for the sweet taste of him.

“Julia,” he moans into me, my hips pressing into his, the desperation seeping out of both of us.

My fingers fumble with the button on his jeans, needing them off, needing to feel his skin against mine. We’re reckless and out of control as he gropes at my shirt, yanking it over my head, my hands returning to his jeans, shoving them down his hips.

Our breathing is labored, each breath shallow and loud, echoing in the quiet of the room, but our pace never falters. Straddling his hips, my skirt up around my waist, Aiden reaches up and yanks the cups of my bra down, exposing my breasts.

“Fuck,” he growls, his hands grabbing for me, his thumbs rubbing roughly over my already hard nipples.
